Re: Caldors: going out of business

Hi, I think Caldors was in Chapter 11 a couple of years ago, so they may not have made it out. Mark (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Caldors: going out of business

I hadn't seen any announcements to this effect on the groups, so here it is: as near as I can tell, the retail chain of Caldors (New England area) is either going completely out of business or closing all of their stores in the Boston area. All toys (...) (26 years ago, 21-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.market.shopping)

  MiniFest in Boston on Monday

We've been talking about it in the loc group but I thought I'd say it a bit more loudly. A group of us will be meeting at the CTP Cambridge office, 304 Vassar St., right across from the Cambridge Hyatt off Memorial Drive, at 7 PM on Monday the 22nd (...)   Target in Danvers?

Well, I happened to be up in Danvers at the Liberty Tree Mall today. It looks like they're adding a new anchor store: A Target "Greatland" (whatever that is - is it the kind that has a supermarket as well or something?) There's some construction or (...) Forgot to give location: CTP is at 304 Vassar, right across from the Cambridge Hyatt. Not too far from Harvard Sq. and Kendall Sq. red line T stops, but not within walking distance of them. I'm thinking Monday 22 Feb?? ++Lar (26 years ago, 8-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)
