Re: MiniFest in Boston on Monday

I got an offline request for more detail. Here's a copy of my RTL post. A report on this... This was pretty low key but good fun.   Re: MiniFest in Boston on Monday

I **DO** have about 8 9V creations with me, mostly stuff that has been seen on the pages, but did include my latest SW unit. I also have the frog game with me. Parking on Vassar should be starting to open up by 7 so there should be some street (...) (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

Re: Caldors: going out of business

Hi, I think Caldors was in Chapter 11 a couple of years ago, so they may not have made it out. Mark (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Caldors: going out of business

I hadn't seen any announcements to this effect on the groups, so here it is: as near as I can tell, the retail chain of Caldors (New England area) is either going completely out of business or closing all of their stores in the Boston area. All toys (...) (26 years ago, 21-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.market.shopping)

  MiniFest in Boston on Monday

We've been talking about it in the loc group but I thought I'd say it a bit more loudly.   Target in Danvers?

Well, I happened to be up in Danvers at the Liberty Tree Mall today. It looks like they're adding a new anchor store: A Target "Greatland" (whatever that is - is it the kind that has a supermarket as well or something?) There's some construction or (...)
