It's that time again, the North Georgia LEGO Train Club is presenting a layout at the Greenberg Toy & Train Show in Norcross at the North Atlanta Trade Center on October 7th & 8th. This year the layout will be completely different with new trains, (...) (26 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ga, lugnet.loc.us.ga.atl)

Thanks John, I was thinking about taking it outside and doing just that. But first I'm debating on whether I should make up some KFC decals to go on the side of it. Most people around here know what it is with out the decals, but it just seems to be (...) (26 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ga, lugnet.loc.us.ga.atl, lugnet.trains.org)

(...) Awesome work, James! That is *exactly* what I like to see-- regional clubs exhibiting regional stuff! It is things like that which make particular train layouts memorable and unique. Hey, let's see some pics taken outside from the same camera (...) (26 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ga, lugnet.loc.us.ga.atl, lugnet.trains.org)

"In 1963, the owner of a drive-in greasy spoon hatched a big idea. St. Louis could have its arch; New York could keep its Lady Liberty-what Marietta needed was a chicken. And thus Tubby Davis, owner of Johnny Reb's Restaurant, and an egghead Georgia (...) (26 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ga, lugnet.loc.us.ga.atl)

Z. Unger contacted me via the web site, asking about our next meeting. He said that he would be willing to host, but his apt complex's rec center costs like $100 for a day. So this got me thinking... I just got an Robotics Discovery Set (RDS) at the Target near my house (corner of Shallowford and Sandy Plains in Marietta) for $99.99 instead of $149.99. At $99.99 this (IMHO) is a good buy. It's almost worth it just for the 2 motors and sensors, (...) (26 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ga.atl)

Hi, I'm going to be in Atlanta for about 4 hours on Tuesday (11 July 2000) nite due to a long layover. Any interest in a fest? I know it's short notice and I know it's not a lot of time but I would love to put some names to faces... Georgia Lego (...) (26 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ga.atl, lugnet.loc.us.ga)

I've spotted the MF and both UCS sets at the TRU's at Buckhead and Town Center (Kennesaw). They had several of each. Also, they had soccer sets, including the America bus with 'kid-size' soccer ball at the Buckhead location. I've also seen the Dino (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ga.atl)
