Much credit needs to go to Robin Werner for the planning and the
execution of our appearance at the Snowball Express. Also, I want
to mention that GFLTC received very good responses from the
organizers of the show about our display and they plan to make GFLTC
the "feature" item in a Fall show. I believe a lot of the reason is
that the display of Lego trains are unique (a lot of people do not
know about Lego trains) and also the fact that we have a very all
encompassing display which runs through quite a few Lego themes.
I for one feel that a Great Wall of China diorama does not feel out
of place in a "train" show as I have seen many non-train dioramas
in train shows I have been to. This is just a very different diorama
and I intend to keep coming up with unique items.
How do other club members feel about non-train type dioramas ?
