Hi, I'll be visiting Colorado Springs the week of Thanksgiving. Any Legofans around that would want to meet up? -Erik (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

  MileHi Con robotics competition

Well.. Lego took the field in the automated class ( I was not competing there). However the day was lost by Leog in the human controlled class, due primarily to a lack of speed. Congratulations to Tim on his triumphant autonomous Lego robot! (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

(...) Great news! I would love to get together, but the next couple of weeks are packed. Maybe in mid-October. I'm in east Broomfield now and Lafayette has a good Wal-Mart so I'm sure the trip will be worth it :-) -Duane (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

  Re: UCS Sets in Denver

Thanks for the info! I had been waiting to find out if retail prices would 'compensate' for the 6.5% state sales tax (MN) that I avoid when ordering from S@H. Looks like I should go ahead and place my S@H order (before the rumored price (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

  UCS Sets in Denver

I just picked up the UCS Tie Intercepter at the Toys R Us in Westminster last night. When I left they had 2 X-wings and 3 Ties still on the shelf. Didn't see any of the other new sets though... -Duane (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

  Where has everyone gone?

I haven't seen anything pop up here for quite a while and was wondering where everyone has gone. What type of themes does everyone collect? I'm heavy on Space with a little Town thrown in. Does anyone else care to share what they like to collect and (...) (24 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

(...) Zainy Brainy's have been popping up around the area too (not sure of the spelling, actually), but like the others, the selection is hit-or-miss. doubt -- Douglas Triggs -- doubt@lensflare.com -- "Come, muse, let us sing of rats!"   Re: Feb Sales

Coming to my neck of the woods, eh? I live in Colorado Springs. Just hit the nearest TRU, Target, K-Mart and Wal-Marts. You'll find that selection isn't all that great. TRU's tend to have more to choose from than the other places. Have fun! (...) (...) (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.co)

  2000 LEGO

Hello all, If you haven't found some of the 2000 sets yet (especially the Star Wars sets), you might want to check the nearest Toys 'r Us. I just picked up a Slave I today at the Fort Collins TrU; they also had the B-wing. Everything else I have (...)
