Re: Even better picts of Legit Lego Stereo

Dang! $303 USD (WITHOUT tax) for just a CD player and speakers?? 3W/ch? Yes, it's neat, and I'd like one, but not at that price! And you can still only order it online for Japan, even though it has directions in Japanese AND English?? (...) -- Tom (...)   Re: FALL BAYLUG MEETING - WHEN & WHERE

(...) Not too close to the beginning of the month, because people may have plans for Labor Day weekend. Mid-late September is good. Saturday or Sunday? I don't care much either way. Fukaya is a good location. --Bill. (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

  MANY Rubbermaid storage tubs available

Hey guys and gals, After a massive reorganization of my collection, I have a big stack of Rubbermaid storage tubs which I no longer need. Would anyone be interested in purchasing some of these?   Re: Shell stations with Lego?

Wait, you mean the one right near El Cam and 85 has the 1256 now??? DANGIT, I hate it when I get a cashier that doesn't understand English well enough, and doesn't even TRY to (which happens a majority of the time at that station). (...) -- Tom (...)   Re: Shell stations with Lego?

(...) Thanks for the tip, Tom. I went by that station yesterday afternoon and picked up one of each except for the 1255. They were all out of the 1255. When I left, there were still 3 1256s left. Russell (23 years ago, 3-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Shell stations with Lego?

I've checked several more stations, and the one right around the corner from me now has 1246-1255, but I'm still not able to find 1256 - either all the stations are already sold out of it, or they never carried it. If anyone knows of a station that (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

I saw one station selling the 1256 for $19.99 USD...I passed, thinking that the station had caught wise to the fact that some people are buying for online resale and wanted to get in on the (...)   Shell stations with Lego?

OK, I hit 6 stations in San Carlos and Sunnyvale yesterday, and 4 had the 1246-1251 sets, but NONE had the larger 1252-1256 sets. Personally, I only need about 10-12 1252s and a couple of 1256s. If anyone sees some between San Carlos and San Jose, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jun-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
