  Re: Do we have linkage?

(...) Actually -- don't reply directly to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf@lugnet.com -- instead, mail your reply to ba-lego@cinnamon.com...then we'll be sure it went through all the hoops. --Todd (26 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Do we have linkage?

OK, looks like things are set up at both ends for the 2-way BA-LEGO <==> lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf mail-to-news/news-to-mail gateway. If anyone on the BA-LEGO mailing list receives this, please reply and we'll see if your reply in turn shows up here. (...) (26 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Use Lugnet for Bay Area LEGO Mailing List?

(...) I don't think it should gateway into more than one newsgroup. Since lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf is the root of Bay Area tree of newsgroups, just like lugnet.loc.us is the root of the Unites States tree of newsgroups, that seems like the most logical (...)   Re: What are the best lego places in South Bay?

As of toaday i ahve counted over 5 stores in the local area (San Jose and Sunnyvale) having Mindstorms and other cool kits. I managed to catch one of the Lego stockers over at K-Mart and they talked my lego's off about what stores had what. The (...) (26 years ago, 2-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)

Re: Use Lugnet for Bay Area LEGO Mailing List?

(...) Russel Clark and I are working out the details of a message-exchange for ba-lego@cinnamon.com and lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf@lugnet.com -- so that messages posted to one would automatically show up in the other, thus "joining" the ba-lego mailing (...)   Re: What? nobody here. . .

Re: What? nobody here. . .

(...) Well heck, I'm closer than that here in south orange county. (...) Disney annual passes have photo ID on them now.   Re: What? nobody here. . .

(...) Depends on what you consider local. I'm in Ventura County and consider most of Orange County local, and Carlsbad to be just a little further out than that.
