  Saturday Meet

Well, I deleted my directions (if there were any) to the Fremont Library for this Saturday's meeting cuz I thought I couldn't go. Now I can go. Yippee! Maybe I can get enough bricks to finish the sign. So, can someone tell me the location of the get (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  RE: Interested in older catalogs

Mark, It looks like I have the smaller (8.5"X5") catalogs from 1981 through present. I have the Lego Shop@Home back to 1997 so anything before these times would be most welcome. Thanks! Janet -----Original Message----- From: (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Interested in older catalogs

I know some of you guys have extensive colletions of the Lego and Shop at Home catalogs. Since I have only been back into Legos for a couple of years my library is very limited. Is anyone interested in bringing to the next meeting some of their (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

RE: Looking for pieces to trade at the meeting (November and Dece mber )

Mike, You are right on with your comments. I usually think of a brick as a 2Xanything as they are proportioned like a cement brick and a beam as a 1Xanything as in roofing beam but I'll try to use the standard terminology. If I had a few hours I'd (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Looking for pieces to trade at the meeting (November and Dece mber )

Not to nit pick too much, but I feel we would be helped if we standardized the terms a bit. I think that there are some elements that are referred to differently than "industry standard" that I have commented on. If I can get to the Decemer meeting, (...) Here is my updated list of pieces I need. I have a very eclectic lot of stuff that I can trade for these pieces.   Wanted: White 2x4s etc. for School Project

Hi everyone, If happen to have some decent white 2x4 bricks you could spare, my son could use them for his California Mission model of Mission San Jose (in Fremont) he is building for 4th grade history.
