Re: KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

(...) Mark, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "link ... traffic" but if you mean, for example, linking to a message overview page, i.e. (URL) to a specific range of articles, i.e. (URL) putting up a copy of a weekly digest received by e-mail, (...)   Re: silver bucket

(...) Green and yellow duplo buckets are at TRU Hayward. Check front endcap on the Lego aisle. No silver buckets there though. -Tom McD. (25 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

BayLUG now on KTVU BayInsider website

Well, it took a bit of work, but we have a couple of basic pages on (URL) but I can't load it with Internet exploder 5.x (however, Netscape works fine). Let me know what you think of the pages. So, I can't explain the failure, since I'm using (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.oak, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.con)

Re: KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

(...) Sounds like a legal out so that links to adult sites and less than desirable content can be deleted without hassle. It probably will work in our favor too being that we're family-oriented to a big degree. We had a few families drop by at the (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

RE: KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

Hi, Oh well, Some more thoughts: I quote from Lorry's original note: "and you can employ it as your main promotional tool or simply as a page that bridges out to another site you've already created." This seems to me pretty clear that its OK to have (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

Not a stupid question! It's worth considering even if it is redundant data and there's not really too much of it either. ATM I can't think of anything different to put on those pages other than what's already found on the main and membership pages. (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

RE: KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

Hi, Not being a "baylug web coder" this may be a stupid question, but couldn't we just mirror the first two pages of the Baylug site to Bay Insider, and not have to maintain 2 sites? Mark (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

I called our KTVU contact, and talked about the Bay Insider parenting project... They have a 2-page minimum to be in the listings. More pages will increase the chances of getting the occassional splash on the Bay Insider main page. We could get (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
