Tom McDonald reminds me of another point; When you are in the middle of a layout, folks presume that you are in charge...but when you are on the outside, it is easy for visitors to think other club members are 'just visitors' when we're all dressed (...) FYI, The Great American Train Show (GATS) will be in the Bay Area the weekend following Thanksgiving, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. NO, I'm not suggesting that we exhibit. ;-) I'm just pointing out that there may be a date (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

I just wanted to say that I thought the layout at NMRA was very exciting. My wife and I came down for the day just to see BayLUG/BayLTC's setup.
