Following a local newspaper feature on my castle project and an appeal for somewhere for a display, I have discovered that I may well be able to have the use of local Clubhouse facilities (dance floor/function area, lounge/sitting area, bar, toilets (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.uk.en)

This all sounds very promising. If anyone "senior" wants to check the venue out for suitability I'm sure visits could be arranged. I'd like to second Jon's comments, and add my own on some more general points. One of the aims of the Brickish Association is to build the AFOL community in the UK.
