Got my S@H order today: don't buy Darth Vader! —Huw Millington
Those that know me know that I can't resist anything new, so I ordered quite a few 2002 sets last week. Here are a few first impressions: Racers: Much better than expected, after last year's atrocities. The pull-back motor in the small £2.99 ones is (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I say get the Dark Lord! Just not from shop@home. Their prices are totally out of hand (in Europe, at least). Granted, the box is WAY too large, but the set contains almost exclusively very small parts so the box has to be huge in order to justify (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) I agree. There has been a lot of carping about them (cost & parts), but I think the "look" is quite interesting. Esp the trans-red canopies. Scott A (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Got me a squiddy (Was: Got my S@H order today: don't buy Darth Vader!) —Paul Cook
(...) New Star Wars and Alpha Team sets finally hit my hometown this weekend. Raced out and bought me a 4796 Ogel Mutant Squid. It's awesome! Not a bad collection of parts for £7.99, quite a flexible model, and much better than some of the good guys (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Got my S@H catalogue —David Graham
I noticed the S@H is for January, will there be one for February? No news of the proper 2002 catalogue? No Lego Cliub magazine, it must have gone with the Lego adventurers. The five train wagons have gone up to £59, £55 in December. I liked the idea (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
