(...) *sigh* Now I know. (...) My local Woolies (quite small) is not running that offer. (...) A friend mentioned last night that she could not find any of the sets (other than the biggest one).      (...) Well, it looks like ASDA's blown it. A large red cardboard cabinet has appeared in the foyer of Fareham ASDA, with Bionicles at the front, Racers on one side, Nui-Rama (no collectibility, just Bionicle/Technic-Competition style mosquito (...)       (...) Near me, the train (4708) is the hardest one to find. I checked 6 shops before I got one last weekend. If anyone needs the HP castle set (4709), there are a few UK sellers with them on ebay right now at £85 - £100! See: (URL) A (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

The Asda near where I work has a similar red cardboard affair with similar stock, thousands of (expensive) freestyle buckets and a harry potter display that has been there almost a week, but still has no prices on any of the sets - hence they havent (...)      (...) If no-one's jumped in yet can I ask what the base for the loco is? If it's a train base I'm interested in one of the locos.    (...) Of six Woolies stores I have visited in the past week none had more than two different HP sets - but different combinations in each store. High turnover or poor stocking policy? Chris (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Shopping news - online and high street —Michael LeCount
(...) I would say a very high turn over, as all the woolworths I visited last week had a good selection of Lego including HP sets. Even if they didn't once I had left!!!
