Is there still any Beatties shops in existance?? I worked for them in the past (before I got a real job) and they were in deep shtuk for years. Then the Cardiff shop closed suddenly, and I know for a fact although it didn't have the highest turnover (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I used to work for the Newbury Store, last i have heard that they are in finical trouble, all stores are set to close when they have paid back all of the outstanding orders, hence no new stock as they can't afford it. Lego was the main suppier, but (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)
