Assembled my Camel after grotesque seven hour Guinness session. Awoke this morning to find, to my suprise, it was recognisably an olde worlde biplane. 1. slack rigging is annoying 2. um, 7-8 bits left over?! 3. agree with Huw that it was *madness* (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) The wings on real planes often do bow upward a bit. This makes them self correcting when inadvertantly banked. No idea (I haven't gotten my copy yet) if that is a designed in feature or just luck. (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I just rotated the pieces at the end of the strings, until they were taut. I do like these sculptures. As long as they're not released too frequently, and the quality doesn't drop off, it's likely to be the only series in which I remain complete. I (...) (23 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)
