Argos : Still had some reduced SW Lego. On display were Gungan Subs (£25 -
yawn) and droid fighters (I treated myself to a few at £2.49 each).

TRU : Did not buy anything Lego here. I did notice all the Robo Riders were
£4.99 each and the Battle Droid was £18. I also noticed they had large piles
of the RC car - clearance soon?

(...) Was this the Argos next to the bridges, or the one in the somethingsomething retail park next to the TRU? I can't remember the name though! (...) I've added this to the shopping pages (URL) Don't forget to check out (URL) if you want to add (...) (25 years ago, 6-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) What's the number to the droid fighter - my Asda which never stocks LEGO had DF for £3.99 and Naboo Swamp for £5.99 - however Safeway had the NS for £5.38 and the Naboo Fighter for £11.99. Carbon 60 (25 years ago, 6-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) At TRU prices this is a universal statement I think. Glasgow Govan still has Podracer sets at £59. Wake up and smell the roses guys. (...) Do TRU ever have clearances over here - I have never seen one. Ian Bishop, Ayrshire, UK (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
