Last year is the first I can remember that the new sets were available
before Christmas, it may be a trend, or more likely a one-off. The Ninja,
space port, and adventurers sets all came out on the 21st in my area in a
Toymaster. Beatties followed a few days later.

| (...) I emailed the Entertainer asking when they expected them, who gave the followingfairly uncomittal response "I am sorry Lego have not given any release dates for new 2000 Star Wars Lego as yet, the toy releases in the US are usually 3 to 12 (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
