  Unified UK Lego Web Page/Community?

I also spoke to Carbon60 about some sort of UK AFOL Map, classic smileys representing the location of AFOLS, clicking upon which takes you to their homepage, other icons could be shops, Fests, clubs, events etc, all taking the viewer to the (...) (26 years ago, 28-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

+ Why? The loc.uk newsgroup is great, and searching it can reveal a whole host of useful information. But we are over 1900 messages now in just over a year.. and as I keep posting the signal to noise ratio will decline, and it'll get harder to find (...) (26 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Crappy Parcel Force service

Last Saturday : I posted a parcel to HK (airmail - £44). Wednesday : It was delivered to my house. The tracking number was never activated. It took five days to travel the length of a football pitch. (26 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: On-line Shopping

(...) They also offer a quick service as well as Parcel force. I'm pleased they give you the choice. As mentioned the offers on trains and having access from the UK of the complete train range is very good. We just need to wait and see what new (...) (26 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) I will bring a mint one of these along. Incidentally, is it a left- or right-handed wing? Depends which way you look at it. Ian Bishop, Ayrshire, UK (26 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
