  Why no free organization?

Why does the UK, well Scotland mainly not have a LUG? Or at least a train club? It would be great to be able to participate with fellow Lego crazed folks, and to be able to help put on public shows. Should we not try and start a club for Scotland? (...) (18 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Part Mods - Baseplates and Technic parts

A few part mods for the brave: I decided that buying 32x32 baseplates and cutting them in two was cheaper than buying twice as many 16x32 baseplates. The question is how to make a reliable straight cut. I've used 4x8 plates for rigidity and slider (...)
