Re: PromoBricks.com needs your help! (Pictures of Lego stores)

(...) (Breezes through Lego's pictures (URL) what's the deal with Illinois? They've got "Woodfield, IL" and "Schaumburg, IL" as two different stores, despite the fact that they point to the same store! (Woodfield looks like it immediately bounces (...) Mark, You can find pictures of most of the store fronts on the LEGO.com site using the store locator. Of course these pictures are property of LEGO.com but if you asked nicely they might let you use them for your site....never hurts to ask. jt (...) (...) It is probably worth mentioning that some malls do not allow pictures to be taken inside the mall, and even if some malls do allow them, individual stores can still say no. I know this from experience.   PromoBricks.com needs your help! (Pictures of Lego stores)

Hello everybody! While I was checking out the newest Lego store in Ontario, CA (ok, getting the opening bricks would be a better term) I thought it would be nice to try to get a basic picture of the front of each Lego store that has issued a (...)   Argos deals

Just thought I'd point out that Argos is flogging the 7237 2005 Police Station (Which has some nice parts, especially the base) bundled with a FREE 10159 AIRPORT!!! At the risk of sounding like some sort of sales pitch: That's insane! I was going to (...) (19 years ago, 2-Aug-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Flogging more stuff

I don't mean it to be that most of my postings to this group are to sell things, however my time presently is quite limited for Lego ;-) However, I have yet more items to sell, this time on eBay: (URL) course I'll combine postage. I have more stuff (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

(...) Unfortunately, the front and rear windows are in the right place (without quarter-stud offset bricks being available), and moving them would make the upper body too long for the scale! This is the compromise of detail with measurements of less (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

Re: New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

(...) With the windscreens, did you mean that the side windows are too short or the front and rear windows too narrow? Cab windows are always the hardest part to model. I needed a piece for the front and rear windscreens that would give the division (...) (19 years ago, 3-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk, FTX)

New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

Here's my latest 8mm scale train MOC, a British Class 37 diesel loco in railfreight grey livery with red stripe, as carried by 37674 and others in 1988. (URL) The model has opening doors and removable roof sections, for closing the doors and putting (...)
