Hello, I just want to thank Craig for organising such a great fest. It was my first time displaying properly and I couldn't have done it without the help of the Stevens clan. The public were actually really nice, and I had no worries at all having (...) (22 years ago, 13-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

The stuff you are bringing along is fine - I'll have a sift through it myself. Three new AFOLs, one of which is a dealer have confirmed they are attending. The dealer is unable to stall out, but she'll be stopping by to check us out. It could well (...) (22 years ago, 11-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: New to group

Hi David, welcome. As it happens, there are several AFOLs (adult fans of Lego) in the Glasgow area, but I don't think anyone has organised a local group yet. Look out for an announcement in the next few weeks about a national organisation, though. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  New to group

Hi, I have just "got into" Lego, and would like to take my hobby further. Does anybody know of any Lego groups in the Glasgow area? Any feedback appreciated. -- David. (22 years ago, 10-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys on Saturday! I unfortunatley don't really have anything to bring trade or MOCwise, but will be happy to look at stuff and chat. cheers Magnus (22 years ago, 10-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

(...) How many is a few? I have most of the 4x4 OffRoader (Technic set 8466) for sale. That's almost 1100 parts, but I've bagged them into lots, and they will fit in one box about the size of a 48x48 baseplate and about 4 inches tall. Is this "too (...) (22 years ago, 10-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

It is perfectly okay to turn up at 9.00 AM - its only the general public who will be barred until 11.00. There will be a table for people put out just a few items for sale or trade, so feel free to put some things out. I'll have look for any (...) (22 years ago, 10-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Well not necessarily, but I got a letter from Sky this morning containing a family day pass to Legoland Windsor which I have apparently won (I vaguely remember entering the comp. on their website). I don't ever remember winning anything... cool All (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

OK, I'll be there (Do we have list of confirmed AFOLs around anywhere?). Although I don't have anything to display/sell/setup, I assume it's still OK to turn up at 9.00 AM? I'll try and dig out some bits for trading - I'm mainly after red and blue (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
