  Re: Curating loc.uk

Interestingly the yahoo group seems to be surprisingly well used. I was thinking of setting up a similar Fest co-ordination group. Lugnet is OK, but there are far more sophisticated things out there for managing a group - like sharing a calender, (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curating loc.uk

(...) Well not really. Your previous hard work was helpful and comprehensive but, though I can't speak for others, I still spent most time on Lugnet and would have preferred to have the loc.uk page be up to date and relevant. All I would plan to do (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Curating loc.uk

Some of us had a little chat about the state of the loc.uk front page at Jon's and Jon also brought it up in another place recently. I think it would be very useful if we had a curator and, having read up on FTX I am just about willing to volunteer (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Fest Calendar

I think it would be useful to agree some fest calendar for the coming year. The further in advance dates can be set the better. Jason and Gael have just proposed mini-fests based on discussions at LLW. But there was also a discussion between some (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Essex minifest?

(...) That sounds good to me. I think if we're going to trade parts it should be fairly soon, before all mine gets absorbed into the collection. How much was that day parking again? I could always come up by train actually... Jason J Railton (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Essex minifest?

(...) Sorry Gael, can't make that weekend, I have a job interview in S Wales. I may leave some parts with you for trade, though. I like the sound of May 16, so count me in as a definite maybe. I'll try to organise a car load of migrant workers from (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Essex minifest?

(...) Either would be fine by me but if we are to get weaving on LLLW stuff I think we should go for an earlier date. Apart from the 16-18 weekend (obviously!) I am free in May. Psi. (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Essex minifest?

(...) Actually I think that's likely to make my time more precious as I go and see it about every other day. Perhaps I'll come up for air around Mid-July :) Psi (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

All, Funny, I was thinking of doing exactly the same thing but a little bit early. I think we have some exchange to do ;-) Where : Clapham Junction (Zone 2 - South london) When : 27 or 28 of April But, does it still worth it ? It's not a very big (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
