Please pardon my intromission, but I must refer that all prices in the
Netherlands (and most EU countries as well) will be in Euro (EUR, ) from
January 1st, 2002. This isn't really a very important information (pricing
will be the same, but on a different currency; NGL will cease to exist in
the early months of 2002).
I only posted this 'cause LFB mentioned the housing price in NGL... so if
you move there, don't find it awkard to see *different* values (heck, 300
million people will have to do the same! :-)
BTW, is Petrol in the Netherlands *cheaper* than in US? Really?? I always
thought that in Continental Europe fuel was very expensive compared to the
States...

| (...) Well, that's true. The Euro-pegged currencies will be no longer valid after 28 Feb 2002. But you can't get any Euro notes before 1 Jan 2001. This ought to be interesting, and chaotic... (...) No, no--I said half *again* that in the US. 150%. (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.nl)
