(...) There where no drawbridges. There was a swivel-bridge (rotating in a horizontal plane) operated with a micro motor and gears. I haven't seen a close-up picture of it. Hi guys, The red beams is the main problem: he hasn’t got enough of them. So he placed an other at S@H but they are (temporary) out of the assortment. I’ve already seen the undercarriage: gigantic! (...) Close enough! I think the maximum boom height (combined with jib) is around 198 meters. This scales to 8.3m, or 27.1 ft, in 1:24. Hmm, OK, I now someone who also is trying to build a large crawler crane. He has chosen for the DEMAG CC12600 of the Van Seumeren company, scale 1:24!! Het is alweer voorbij, LEGO WORLD 2001. Maanden van voorbereiding voor 4 dagen van LEGO, LEGO en LEGO. Het evenement is een groot succes geworden. Alle dagen waren volledig uitverkocht en we hebben helaas vele mensen moeten teleurstellen omdat er (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.nl) !
