Hello European AFOL :-)
FreeLUG (French LUG) would like to do a big Great Ball Contraption at LEGOworld this year. we have about ten modules at
this time.
To increase the size of this GBC, we would
like to invite all AFOL, who planned to bring one or more module, to join us. We
will make a good place for your modules :-)
If you dont know what is a GBC module, read this
http://www.teamhassenplug.org/GBC/. It is very easy to make one simple module
( and one module dont take a lot of place :-) ).
So if you want to join us into a big GBC, please tell us (here or at my personal
email : jlb@freelug.org ), so we can provide a place for your modules.
I hope to see a lot of GBC modules at LEGOWorld :-)
See you,
Jean-Louis Bergamo,
member of FreeLUG

Hi Pedro,
You need to read the "recent post history" more often!

It's Jon Furman's. He announced it about five hours ago.

Hi all,
I just found this on brickshelf:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=88264
From the looks of it, I'd say it's inspired (loosely) in the courtyard of the
Great Mosque, in Cordoba (Spain). But I'd really love to know more about this
creation! Is the author [Obi-Juan-Kenibi] known around .castle?
Thanks,
Pedro

(alias Julen)

Hi Matthias,
Sorry for this inconvinience. I should have responded only to the Dutch
(lugnet.loc.nl) instead of all those country's.

Hi Matthias,
..and a babelfisch translation from Dutch to English would not help much.. :-)
Herewith Ludo's story translated:
/start/
Hi Paul,
Thanks for this proposition. We, some Vlamingen (=people from the Dutch
speeking part of Belgium *khm) intend also to start a Club, if possible.
Every bit of help from experienced guys from De Bouwsteen is welcome! Our first
meeting is at my place on 12.04.2003. Result of the meeting?... W'll see.
/end/
Klaas H. Meijaard
Hé Ludo! Veel succes! We zijn benieuwd naar jullie bevindingen!
/transl:/ Good luck! :-)
