Yes and I wanted to do this especially because I had some (for me it has been
quite difficult) discussions with Richard about the new Legends of Lego direct.
(I do not like these Legend - as they come so far - for several reasons, but
that has been told already in another discussion).

All Germans have to learn English from the 5th class on. All pupils that go to
high school have had 8...9 years of English lessons in the end. (But I have
been a very bad student at that time. My first English teacher (still know her
name : "Miss Notse" - with huge butterfly like glasses on her nose) hated me
for sure (and I hate her for that till today). I had no fun in learning English
and that resulted in bad grades...(and even less fun in the lessons). When I
changed to high school I was far behind the average in my English class.
Only my top grades in mathmatics and physics allowed me to continue the high
school. My English teacher there suggested even to throw me out of school...
:-(
I think it has been basically my Lego hobby (r.t.l, Lugnet and mails with
co-afols), that improved my English from quite bad to acceptable over the past
5 years. And that has been really helpful in my job as an engineer too. I
learned most technical English vocabulary here (for further improvements I
should possibly follow the technic newsgroup instead of trains - haha.)

You do not have to apologize for anything. You have done a favour to us with
the translation. And you have not mixed in a discussion, because the whole
thread just started with a nonesence posting (out of a bored mood and in hope
to start a discussion in this dead part of Lugnet).
