    Re: score —Tim Strutt
Whoa! That is quite the expensive purchase. I hope you get some good stuff in there. I couldn't justify it to myself, but that's just because I would be looking to spend that much on a single 4558 Metroliner train. <grin> By the way, I noticed that (...)      Ya, I got outta hand on that one. I was hoping that the seller would say "No...don't ship to Canada". But he replied that it was fine. So like you said I had better enjoy the box. Heading to the Outlet store myself. Any requests from down here? Jeff (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

Well, it's LEGO, so it's worth it, right? But I know the feeling you mean, thinking "what have I done?" afterwards. I wish I could get you to buy me some more from the LEGO outlet, but I better slow down for now. I've been told our bank account is (...)         Re: score (Ontario Lego Society) —Richard Noeckel
The lot that you won looks well worth it! But, what I don’t understand is why people go out and buy such new sets only to sell them within a year? (I saw that there was an R2 D2 in your lot, therefore I'm assuming that the seller only recently (...)    (...) How long did you take to come up with that one? :) MonLUG is coming out to rtl/train1, an open invitation stands for Parlugment to come out to train1 or rtl8 (May 26 and June 9 respectively, depending on yer bent (train or technic)) of course.      (...) I plan to come to rtl8, but my bot is only 20% done. It is a lot harder than I expected. (24 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Don't give up! the Blockminding game is a lot more free form than Stacking, Sumo or Marbles. There's lots of latitude to build cool stuff! Calum (24 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: score (Ontario Lego Society) —Tim Strutt
(...) I for one think an Ontario/Quebec wide get-together would be awesome. I think Ottawa would be a wonderful place to host it too. <grin> Seriously though, I do wish I could get to the rtlToronto/train1 event. I probably won't make it (I'd have (...)
