As well, I wouldn’t mind getting a general idea of who’s going to be showing up with what, so I can book the space. Are we thinking about the moonbase? Can someone take the lead in that?

Dave K

Dave, I responded ages ago to this, but I will jump in here again. I am in, and my dollhouse needs a full table alone.

   hello rtl.

i had the *pleasure* of meeting a few rtl members @ bf.

Pleasure??? Ms. Higdon, surely you jest!!!

i also had the pleasure of meeting greg, jeff and ralph. it was quite the experience. and here i was thinking that rtl was a staid group of robot-heads. was i wrong!

No kidding!!!!

Ralph (ya knew this one was coming) is a redneck in disguise (but we wont tell his wife, unless forced). Greg is not so smirky but very talented, and well, Jeff, is a rebel teddybear.

(my lug says i have a problem with scale - ask janey who’s got the problem)

Oh we know they have a problem, and its not just with scale. Maybe some day, J&J will finally appreciate us, but by then we will be doing true scale mocs in our own lug. Scalelug?? Mmmm maybe not, sounds like a “condition”. (Hmmmm maybe this isnt the best time to hit Jas up for a place to stay for Railfair.... hopefully he doesnt read rtl much... who does??? wink)

i’m looking forward to renewing the friendships/aquaintances i made in d.c. and to find out if all they said about the rest of you is really true!

No, trust me, it’s much MUCH worse.

snipped....
   that really bugs jude beaudin.

(What doesnt???)

Speaking of Jude.... flogs than pokes a dead horse. Tick, tick tick... I am waiting!!!

Back on topic.

Looking forward to the Hobby Show, and like Deb, and despite Magno’s lame suggestion, I am also not willing to be responsible for the play area. Having said that, I am more than willing to take a EQUAL timed “shift” which just sounds way too much like teamwork to.... fly like an eagle. (Walks off singing some tune, and shaking my head and “grrrrring” for oh so many reasons.)

(...) Janey, I know that you and a couple other people did respond to an earlier thread about The Hobby Show, but for some reason that discussion just seemed to fade away. So I'm glad Dave decided to light the fire again and I hope we can hear from (...) (19 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca.on, lugnet.general, lugnet.events, FTX)
