I had said before that would have difficulty attending an event in Ontario
coming from Alberta, but that's not to say that I would not definetly be
able to attend. Given enough notice and motivation to go, I could like
attend an event during the summer, as then it would not conflict with my
University schedule. But if a CANLUG Snowbrick event (or whatever it's
called) is held in the summer, it could be in 'competition' with Brickfest.
So here's my point for others to think about. If the Canadian Lego fest was
held next summer, could it be possible to run it the within a week or so of
Brickfest. I like the idea of being able to attend two events at the same
time. That would allow for someone like me to come from western Canada,
join the CANLUG event, then go down to Brickfest, even have a bunch of
Canucks go down to Brickfest. Can you say CANLUG road trip? :)
Just thinking out loud.

| Hello, It looks like we may eventually have a Canadian LEGO Festival. Currently things are in the extremely early stages, but I want to see this happen, so I am going for a wide audience. I have created an FTX page to further my reflections on this (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.events, lugnet.announce) !!
