Re: Update on Technic Box #1 (Canadian Tour)

[cross-posting to lugnet.loc.ca] (...) Phil has a good question - what's up folks? (...) Hmm. I think you're over-reacting a bit. One of the Canadian tour boxes was delayed significantly because of poor timing (it arrived at a person's house in the (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya, lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Canadian Tire

(...) Looks that way. :/ No other deals at the Can Tires either. Only about 3 or 4 sets at each, and they are all obvious returns (in varying condition) at MSRP. Nothing rare or unusual, at mine, either. Oh well. Another location to put on my list (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Someone found them... there are a ton of the various little things on eBay right now. :) Guess the eBay pros got there first. (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Canadian Tire

(...) I've also had no luck finding these. The one CT I've seen any indication at all had the sign, but not the sets. I've got one more CT that I'm going to hit tonight, but that's my last shot. James (URL) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Canadian Tire

Ditto - I'd want up to 50 of the 2885s. If someone can pick them up for me, I'd really appreciate it. Especially if it is someone I trade with at cost before ;-) I'd only want about 10 in the box, the rest could be crammed into one box (though it (...) (...) Dont forget that USAians can get GST (but not PST) back. Costs a stamp. (...) OK, I'll pay for shipping. But I don't care if these are squished down, I just want them for parts.   Re: Canadian Tire

Just a FYI in case someone from the US is thinking of striking it rich buying these sets and reselling them for $1.50US. The $1.49 + tax (in BC) is $1.70Cdn. $1.50US = $2.25Cdn Profit = 0.55 Cdn The four Canadian Tires I visited, only one had them (...) (...) Me too! Take care of Larry first, but I'd love to buy or trade for a bunch of 2885s. Sincerely, /Eric McCarthy/ (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Canadian Tire

(...) Like Larry, I could use a bunch of these: 10 of 2872 and 10 of 2885, and I'd pay the $1.50 + shipping too. If anyone is willing....thanks! Paul Sinasohn bearitone@my-deja.com (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Canadian Tire

Does CT have a lot of these?? I'd pay 1.50 US each for: - as many copies of 2885 as I can get (up to 30) (love those drawers) - and up to 5 copies of 2872. (for the kitties, mostly) if you pay shipping... slow shipping is fine. That's not too bad a (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)
