Re: Excessive exchange rate between US and Canada

(...) This is a regular catalog ? When does this offer expire ? Any other kits that have such a nice discount ? Man, and I thought 369$ was a good price ! Now I will have to cancel my first order and make a new one. Thanks for tip. (19 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) Chris, as the person who 'funded' the railway construction and the mill, I can confidently say that the track is planned to turn away from the mill without risk it or the surrounding environment. ;-) Thanks, Jude (19 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

By the way, the Death Star is only $299 CDN with the latest S@H catalog code, so now is the time to get it if you want it. Kevin (19 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.ca)

  Train power supplies at Winners

Was out in the Winners at Bedford Place Mall (the one with the Zellers) this evening and noticed they have four of set 4548 Electric Train Speed Regulator (one of the only 9V train sets I haven't bought :) ) marked down to $18 each. Originally sold (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.ca.ns.hal)

TRU bucket & tub sale June 18-24

TRU has LEGO buckets and tubs 1/2 price (while they last, no rainchecks). Reg 14.99-29.99, now 7.47-14.97. They show a picture of 4105 (red bucket) and 4496 (blue tub). I really don't like the newer style tubs. Ignoring the awful lids, they are made (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) The full retail price, ie. 200 CDN $ (plus tax of course). I'd rather buy it in a store than wait until it appears at Shop@Home, and then have to pay shipping too.
