See what I can do, will perhaps get one screen printed (or print it out here
on my epson photo 1200 (don't worry this will give a photographic rendering,
especially if I create it in photoshop or Illustrator) then I could try that
new Iron on T shirt transfer paper, to see what the quality is like. If it is
not the qual. that we want, at least we can use it for a sample, to give an
idea of what the finished product/colors/design will be like. People can then
order sizes and colors from that, perhaps.
Has anyone run the "studs" name past any of the other groups in Oz? Cause we
should probably come to a general consensus before doing T shirt designs.
Perhaps we should ask for submissions and then cast an online vote, for the
name. I myself am happy with Studs, (or even LegOz, is cool by me) but in the
interests of community, we should perhaps open it to everyone??? Then the T
Shirts can be an Australia wide thing, not just for us attending the LegOz,
extravaganza's.
What date are we aiming for, for the next one? Cause I wanna come, and am
hoping it will not coincide with my trip to NZ. (which I havent booked for
yet, so the exact date is still a little up in the air. It'll be in April,
thats all I know)
Mittagong is great by me. Richards place sounds fine, rather than the RSL. I
don't really care one way or the other about the joe public thing, but then
again, I guess, it would be interesting, to advertise our meetings in toyshops
and other likely places that AFOLS lurk (besides the net) Perhaps community
news? (the freebie papers)It would be great to boost up the Aussie numbers,
and there are obviously thousands of AFOLS out there, who are not on line, or
havent discovered Lugnet. So perhaps a public venue would be good. Dunno, what
do you all think?
