sniP!
Robert also had a  large robot, complete with a classic space logo.

This was a particular highlight. Thankfully no-one suggested using it in
brikwars.

i had actually planned to use it, refer to my posting prior to the event
where i mentioned that i had a robot i wanted to test in battle. But it
would have been a little overwhelming on the relatively small battle.
The robot had been named, for anyone who is interested, Happy Killmore,
hence the giant-sized golf-club for driving minifigs off the fairway. Maybe
i should make a massive DUPLO rowboat for the next meet....

Dave commandeered (and then commanded) one of James' armies when it came time
for brikwars.

For the next battle he may have to practice his dice rolling!

te-he, it still makes me laugh (sorry Dave, i just havent seen so many 1s
and 2s in one day...)

The next STUDfest is to be held in early December, probably at Marsfield or
Hazelbrook, and is to feature aquatic brikwars.

I know that you realise that i may have some bias here in tilting the
probablity of one location over the other, but where is Marsfield? - and if
it is there shouldnt it be a space theme [finaly a use for those martians
which come with those cool mechs]

Of course date, location, theme and bevarage of choice are all still rather
open, so if anyone feels a burning desire for any thing/place in particular,
please let us know!

James (who is pondering a minifig scale cathedral game)

Have fun,
Robert [counting the hours until uni exams finish - well it is in november
some time...]
