Followers of history might note that since the catastrophe that was the Xth
legion's last outing in Briksbane, where a third of the legion rebelled, the
core slaughtered and the (then) commander going missing with the last
remaining Amazon Warrior, the legion has been in dire straits. Accordingly
when the Welshishish government cutoff funding pending an inquiry (proximity
to an election not a factor!) Cpt. James Squire made off with a reasonable
portion of the remaining hardware and turned mercenary. Having learnt
lessons from previous battles the first task was to improve the infantry's
armour. That's right, contacting a local company several sets of ex-imperial
armour were purchased (their diplomatic corp was happy to recommend them).
The next task (beyond re-recruiting some infantry) is new personal weapons.
(perhaps a portable phalanx system or "ground" torpedoes?

This was a particular highlight. Thankfully no-one suggested using it in
brikwars.

For the next battle he may have to practice his dice rolling!

Of course date, location, theme and bevarage of choice are all still rather
open, so if anyone feels a burning desire for any thing/place in particular,
please let us know!
