Well. I finally get to my computer after yesterday, the first meeting of
whatever we decide to call ourselves who live in Sydney and collect/build/play
with lego.
First a roll call.
Myself, James Howse 'cause I live here and I organised (sort of) the whole
thing.
Peter White came, bringing some Arctic sets he found in a toystore in Mona
Vale. Peter doesn't post here yet but reads us all the same, Hi Peter!
Richard Parsons brought half his navy, check out his site if you haven't
already at, http://www.hinet.net.au/~rparsons/port/
Including the very very very ..... very impressive three masted Agamemnon and
a neat little paddle steamer.
Finally we were joined by Peter Callaway who brought many things to trade.
What we did.
Talked about pricing (surprise surprise) opened the new artic sets and built
them, (who needs a fluro orange scorpion?) recounted tales of how we got into
LEGO in the first place, took photos, which will be on a website soon, I
promise! Peter C and Richard did some trading and we all drunk lots of Coke
because is was 30 in the shade.
We're gonna do it again!
Richard is going to find somewhere near/in Parramatta on the first weekend in
April, maybe we'll see you there!
James.
