Maybe check with a Post Office, since they sell Western Union IMOs here.
I tried that, but they only sell them, pretty stupid huh?

I was able to put it into my bank account, not cash it, but they said it has
a 30 day clearance (yes, 30 days), as they have to send it back to the US.

Sounds all a bit laborious for them. Haven't Western Union been operating
since the days of the Wild West Telegraph ? Maybe they travel back to the
US by seahorse. Or maybe the 30 days is to check if it's been reported
missing in transit.
