    What and who is this Coko brick stuff??? —Melody Brown
   I just came back from some ladies place who I bumped into at target yesterday and I bought some Lego and she was telling me she had some. So I went around and bought some, but to my disgust there were some 'coko' Lego type garbage in there, VERY (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

   (...) Coke is the real thing, Coko is not. Whenever you buy bulk lots, there will always be clones and tiny parts from non-construction toys.    Hahaha Peter :P Well lucky I don't fret :) (I have a sense of humour so never take me too seriously) Actually there was a 7710/8853/6877 in there with the instructions still in good nick.    (...) I think I read somewhere on Lugnet, that Coko got stopped legally by Lego. Funnily enough after I posted, I was sorting an auction lot, and would you believe it, one Coko in two Lego sets.    Mr Peter White bread, this is Mel Brown bread reporting... do you know where abouts the Coko postings are? Sorry my numb brain probably passed them all... Yeah the plastic is garbage.    I dunno, covered in Raspberry jam so then no-one would know the difference :P Actually they'd be lucky! with all the Lego and all :P Now I wish I were a kid who grew up with a stash of Lego before I was even born :) Mel...
