RE: More sexism from Lego (Was Re: 2000.2 Catalogue now out :)

(...) Well, unfortunately, you will have to :( I'll do my best to get the rest of the catalogue up tonight, although it takes a while to upload images. One thing no-one seems to have noticed..ALL world club advertising has shown only boys. There has (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.general)

(...) I'd just like to say that while there is no official announcement as yet, that I've checked on the possibility of ADSL coming to my area, and it says on the Telstra site that they're reviewing their plans for my area. Here's hoping we get some (...) (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.general)

New Aus Catalog mentions AFOLS (Was Re: 2000.2 Catalogue now out :)

(...) "At Lego.com there's something for everyone parents...families...kids... advanced builders...and adult collectors" Wow, we got a mention. We exist! I'm amazed, and pleased. (but I'm still not forgiving the other remarks... :) ) Deidre (...) (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.general)

Re: New Aus Catalog mentions AFOLS (Was Re: 2000.2 Catalogue now out :)

(...) I dunno. It only mentions adults as collectors. While I must admit to having a large collection of LEGO sets, even some unopened, I don't consider myself a collector. I buy LEGO sets only to be able to build more. At least that's what I keep (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.general)

I've given up considering myself a builder, I'm a collector who would like to build once I've got at least one good example of every set in every theme I'm interested in. Mark H. (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au)
