Well, find out if they'd want to try and get more for it by piecing it all
together and seeing if everything is there. I would have to say that it
would be a good thing if you find out whether or not there are sets with
lots of pieces missing, sets with few pieces missing - basically, what is it
going to cost you in order to pull out a complete set versus one that's
missing anywhere from a third to half it's pieces?
Did they have any instructions included? You have to take all of what I and
the other respondents have told you into consideration, then you take your
chances and offer what you'd pay for it all. Do remember to take into
account the amount of work you're going to have to do to sort it all out
into sets though. Time spent sorting things out can be a bit time-consuming
sometimes.
