Umm, it was a couple of years ago, so maybe I'm understating the cost, but
certainly it seemed sufficiently cheap that it wasn't worth the hassle
factor of trying to use public transport. As for my source, I just picked up
a brochure at my hotel and booked it through the front desk. I can't
remember the company, but they had a large depot in Anaheim.

It's an all-day thing. They pick you up around closing time from Legoland,
maybe 20-30 minutes before closing.
