Frances,

Firstly welcome of course, and fondest felicitations.

Secondly, GADZOOKS!  I have four of the RBRs and none of them in their
original state.  Like the Millennium Falcon to come, I fear, the RBR seems
to me to be little better than a fairly good collection of pirate parts,
stuck together in a rather chaotic manner.  I mean, it, umm..., well it,
err....,  just .... sucks.  The BSB on the other hand (as I have previously
waxed lyrical over in .pirates and to anyone else who would listen) is
almost perfect in its native state.  I can't imagine why anyone would prefer
the RBR.  Then again, I have numerous problems with reality - I still don't
(for example) truly believe that John Howard is Australian Prime Minister
:-)

Make no mistake, my first reaction to someone trading my pirate ships for
technic would be to reach for firearms.  Actually that would also probably
be my second to twenty-ninth reaction to this.  However, I'd be thrilled for
the net result to turn out to be trading an RBR for a BSB.  To wit, if your
other half would care to make such a trade I am sure I can organise it!  I'd
even throw in an extra rowboat.  And if really pushed, I could probably come
up with a complimentary set of steak knives ;-)

Still baldly going...

Invite your other half to go check out Port Block at
