Just a short message to let people know I haven't disappeared completely
(since I have been rather quiet lately)!

Unfortunately, I've been rather busy (and just a little slack) over the past
while. As such, I have not yet taken any pictures of the stuff I took to the
last MUGS meeting, despite meaning to. They will be coming eventually, though!

So, to justify the subject of this message: when is the next MUGS meeting?
While I realise it hasn't really been that long since most of us (excluding
myself) got together (for the train thing), I am kind of itching for another
meeting.

"Why?", I hear the voices in my head ask. Simply because I have something
kind of special to unveil. Something that would be extremely appropriate for
me to unveil in the context of a MUGS meeting. And no, I'm not saying more
than that - I'm going to keep you hanging.

So, yeah, if the next meeting is soonish, then I'll take this thing along.
Otherwise, I'll probably post some photos of it to Brickshelf. Though
actually taking the photos will probably take me until the next meeting anyway!

Oops...actually, most MUGS have migrated across to using the MUGS-List on
Yahoo, and I thought I'd let everyone know.

Anyway, to correct this oversite, the next MUGS meeting is on Saturday April
26, at Selwyn House in Craigieburn [email me if transport may be difficult.]
starting at 11:00, and running through to 5 or so.

The exact location is on Melways map 387, on the line A8/A9. There is a
reasonable sized car-park just off Selwyn Av, on the south side of the building.

The theme for this meeting is SPACE, though anything is of course welcome :)

I must also mention that there are likely to be several visitors, including
some who have only recently heard about LEGO collecting, and others who
would be very interested in any models people may have. (In fact, I'm
nearing completion on the front of the Brictorian Barracks after spending
months putting it off :) )

I hope this helps,

Benjamin Whytcross

(...) Why use a yahoo list in preference to LUGnet? It creates a much more "closed universe"; is that the intention? Kerry (22 years ago, 6-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Ben, As it turns out, you had invited me to join this list. For some reason, I ignored, or forgot about, your email. Sorry. At the moment, I am free on Sat 26 April, and yes, I will be requiring transport. Cheers, Matt W. (22 years ago, 6-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.au)
