The lady
there told me that there was a stuff-up in the printing of the new
catalogue and it should be here in a couple of weeks.  There seems to be
a big change in the catalogue system this year.  The catalogue will be
FREE and there will be two (one now and a second mid-year).

I have just spoken to Lego Australia and some of this news has been confirmed.
There was no stuff up (I spoke to the Australian proofreader actually) but yes
there are two catalogues this year and they will be free. Of course this means
there will be fewer catalogs in circulation since Lego won't be covering
overheads. This isn't particularly considering the large piles of '99
catalogues I've seen sitting around. The person I spoke to said they arrive
the 3rd and should be at Lane Cove on the 6th(ish). Send a (largeish)SAE to me
to have yours posted to you if you're not in Sydney.

James,

If you could hang onto one for me and I'll get it off you later.

For those in Sydney, the show that's out Perth way is coming for Easter
(10thish) to GBCity. They will also be exhibiting Mindstorm etc at some of the
computing shows coming up.

We should organise a post Studs #2 visit to GB's and re-live our kiddie days
when Mum used to take us along to the old LEGO exhibits. Now we're all bigger
we can push all the little kids out of the way and get pole position on the
grid ;-) Unless Rachel and/or Richard are there with their kids, in which case
we'll be on our best behaviour.
