I have just spoken to Lego Australia and some of this news has been confirmed.
There was no stuff up (I spoke to the Australian proofreader actually) but yes
there are two catalogues this year and they will be free. Of course this means
there will be fewer catalogs in circulation since Lego won't be covering
overheads. This isn't particularly considering the large piles of '99
catalogues I've seen sitting around. The person I spoke to said they arrive
the 3rd and should be at Lane Cove on the 6th(ish). Send a (largeish)SAE to me
to have yours posted to you if you're not in Sydney.
For those in Sydney, the show that's out Perth way is coming for Easter
(10thish) to GBCity. They will also be exhibiting Mindstorm etc at some of the
computing shows coming up.

| I just checked Myer in Brisbane city this morning and they were stocking the shelves with the new Arctic, castle and some other sets. The lady there told me that there was a stuff-up in the printing of the new catalogue and it should be here in a (...) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
