  Re: Linda stays in bed

(...) LOL Pete. There are a few half-price sets in the Target catalogue this week (5458,7046,4506,5449). I thought 4506 (designer sharks) for $19.99 was worth getting out of bed for yesterday (although Ms Evangelista would point out that was still (...) (19 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: New TTX Container Wagon

(...) Do you get "two" what? Your question isn't clear. The set comes with 2 bodies and 3 bogies. So you technically get one car, but it's 2 units. (which is what the box is showing, it's not showing 2 cars, just one 2 unit car) Parts to build 2 (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  New TTX Container Wagon

All I have some questions that someone may be able to answer. Question 1 The ttx box shows 2 cars on comunual bogies do you get 2 in the kit? question 2 Thei has nothing to do with the ttx. Does anyone know why all the new minifigs on skateboards (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: STUDS Gathering this weekend? (Was Re: STUDS in the first world war.)

(...) You could always drive down to </trains/org/mltc/?n=22 Morwell> and say hi to some MUGS ;) ROSCO (19 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd, FTX)

STUDS Gathering this weekend? (Was Re: STUDS in the first world war.)

(...) -snip- (...) There are downsides to having a job, though, and James is required to work all weekend. So we are rather thin on the ground for a gathering. As an alternative, I propose a gathering in the city, like (URL) one that we had last (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd, FTX)

Re: Lego City Airport at Myer

(...) Not until it's 20% off, at least. ;-) (...) Maybe not necessarily, but I'd say generally. The queues at the great Target Toy Sale, the Myer 50% off sale, the Lego Warehouse sales, to name a few, seem to indicate that it generally is. (...) Not (...)   Re: Lego City Airport at Myer

(...) Dude, you still don't get it. It's an excellent set, they want/need it now and they've got better things to do than arse around checking the toy store every two weeks. It's not necessarily about the money. Difficult concept to get one's head (...) (19 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: Lego City Airport at Myer

(...) No, I think I gave them too much credit for appreciating the retail pricing of Lego sets. (...) I wouldn't pay 19cpp if I had a reasonable expectation of being able to pay 17cpp for the same parts in the near future. I don't recall many lego (...)   House on the Oasis

I have finally finished something ;) Page 1: (URL) Page 2: (URL) 3: (URL) I saw the brochure for the house, I wanted to see what it would look like and also in LEGO ;) I loved the idea of so much surrounding water and the spaciousness of the house.   Re: Lego City Airport at Myer

(...) Perhaps the average Aussie Lego consumer has a better appreciation of Lego than you give them credit for. If I could pay AU19c each for a parts selection that good in every set, I'd buy every set! Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (19 years ago, 4-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: Lego City Airport at Myer

(...) 4 in Sydney today. I'm surprised they sell at that price. But I did, for a moment when I saw it, wonder if something had gone wrong with the time-space continuum. It certainly doesn't look like a 21st century set. (19 years ago, 3-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)
