I recently took a vacation to London with my folks, and Legoland Windsor was on the list of places to visit. I'm in the process of creating my webpage for the whole vacation, but Legoland Windsor was on the second day, and therefore is "done" (well, (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.publish, lugnet.legoland.windsor) !

The park isn't massive so you should cover most of it in a day. We always start at the back and work our way towards the front to avoid the crowds. The Castle ride is popular so it is worth finding out first, if you are interested there is also a (...) (26 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.legoland.windsor)

Shortly- very shortly- I will be in the UK, and while I have informed my travel companions that going to LEGOLAND is a non-negotiable event, I (...) (...) Yep, there's a large shop right near the entrance. Their prices are generally lower than those found elsewhere in the London area. I think you have to pay the park entrance even if you just want to go to the shop. Not sure if the shop is open when the park closes early in the new year. However you might be able to just wander in if you go close to closing time, last time I was (...) (26 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.legoland.windsor)

(...) I don't know exacxtly what the shop there has but they certainly have alot of Lego, and plenty of old sets. It is also, from now on, one of the few places that you can buy Scala.
