Brad,

Yep, you are correct, there are Minifigs at Legoland-CA Pick-A-Brick.  I
thought I was in Minifig heaven when I saw those bins.  Nothing really
spectacular, but there were some goodies if you looked for em.  So I start
to get my bag filled of these goodies, but wait... they don't sell anything
at Pick-A-Brick until Noon time (at least at this time of the year)..  But
due to all the freeway closures that I heard about on the drive down to
Legoland, and not wanting to make the trip back home any longer, I figured
it wasn't worth being at the park an extra 45 mins just to wait for someone
to ring me up.

Which brings up another point....anyone hopping to get in and out of the
park in a hurry (especially if you using the free admission for a 45-60 min
shopping spree), you might want to check first if there's a retail person
back at Pick-A-Brick to make your purchase from, because even though the
building is open, there may be no one there to take your money.  (And the
person selling food and drinks there in the building can't ring you up
either.)

Good Luck!

Ray

Subject: Minifigs now available (Cheap!) at LLC pick-a-brick

I was at Legoland last Sunday and the pick-a-brick now has minifig pieces.

Here are all the pieces that I can remember.  Given that minifigures • usually
sell for about $1+ each, paying $6 a 1/4 is cheap.  I was able to get over
20 minifigs (plus some extra hair pieces) for only $6!

Pieces:

Head pieces:
- Black and Brown standard men's hair
- Brown womans hair with pony tail in back
- White fire man's hat
- Red street workers hard-hat
- White "standard" cap (the one from a long time ago
- Several colors of helmets

Legs
- Red
- Dark Gray
- powder blue (I've never seen this before)
- Yellow legs with black "shorts"
- Some other colors I can't recall

Torso's (includes heads)
- White torso with black or red, or blue overalls (I've never seen the • black
variety before)
- plain red torso
- Fireman's torso
- Orange torso with "coat" pattern (I've never seen this one)
- Pirate torso's with strips on shirt (two different colors)
- Green "coat" torso (like bank worker, but no bank emblem)
- Green gas worker torso
- Others that I can't remember

Note:  It is not feasible for me to make purchases for people. Please • don't
ask.
