Re: Limited edition bricks; Spellbreaker launch at LEGOLAND California!

(...) Cool! Do you know (or can you say) if there are going to be any special Halloween promotional sets? I'll probably give out LEGO again this year instead of candy, but it would be fun to give out orange and black LEGO! :) "Brick or Treat!" (...)   Limited edition bricks; Spellbreaker launch at LEGOLAND California!

The Halloween season kicks off tomorrow at LEGOLAND California with the opening of the Spellbreaker--a castle themed suspended coaster--and a host of other items that I think you will enjoy. I hope many of you can come visit the next few weeks and (...) (24 years ago, 13-Oct-00, to lugnet.legoland.california) !

  LEGO balloon

My grapevine has told me that a hot-air balloon has been ordered by TLG to advertise the new Legoland Deutschland. You can expect to see it flying anytime now (in Germany). Further details if interested: It was ordered from Cameron Balloons (UK). It (...) (24 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland.deutschland)

Re: Getting the most out of...

The park isn't massive so you should cover most of it in a day. We always start at the back and work our way towards the front to avoid the crowds. The Castle ride is popular so it is worth finding out first, if you are interested there is also a (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.legoland.windsor)

  Getting the most out of...

Here's an open-ended question: What should someone keep in mind when preparing to visit LEGOLAND Windsor? Shortly- very shortly- I will be in the UK, and while I have informed my travel companions that going to LEGOLAND is a non-negotiable event, I (...)   Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

Not quite on the time there. Inkjet printers can dry much quicker than that. Our new videojet that we just got at work dries in 3 seconds. Of course, it is $8K. They have one for half the price, but the dry time is 30 seconds. The inks available can (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland.california)

Re: Anyone going to the Galactic Challenge?

Hi! With regard to David's and Thomas' success at LEGO competitions, people should know that they are not alone in having made multiple appearances over the years. From my personal knowledge, I can state there also exist: A family from Michigan with (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.legoland, lugnet.general)

Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

Come on now, let's add some realism to this conversation. LegoLand is a theme park, not a production facility. If they were really printing those parts, it could take up to 20 minutes or more to apply all the colors, and let them dry. Since a childs (...)
