LEGOLAND California is closed today due to the fires in Southern California. Interstate 5 and the associated railroad tracks from Oceanside to San Clemente were shut down at 02:00 this morning, cutting off access to the park from north of San Diego. (...) Maarten, It looks like you had a decent day despite the traffic. We went to the Lego Club day on the 16th Sept. With the weather being good it was far busier than our previous visits this year. So here is a two-year follow up on the Legoland CA hotel: The hotel was talked about back in Jan 2006 by Nick Varney as posted in this thread: (URL) construction looks to be going on NOW!
