| | S@H US gets all, we get nothing....
|
| Why am i feeling so bad... Is it because: - S@H US gets a nice bulk discount and we (Europe) still have nothing, despite that Jake announced it months ago... - S@H US/Canada now even gets free shipping and we ofcourse don't. - Here, in Belgium at (...) |
| (...) Yes, you were write, it was Kaufman until somewhere in the late 90's (I believe 97/98) but afterward (for some unknown peculiar reason) the import that Kaufman did stopped (some salesman from a little toy store told me) and that's why all the (...) | (...) That's interesting, so in fact the importer actually did a good job (at least better than the situation now). because it's obvious the situation has been deteriorating over the past few years. Not so much in the price point of view (that was (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.il, lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Re: New CLASSIC SW Lego
|
| (...) You're right, but the target customers for the Mindstorms sets and 'standard Lego sets' are quite different. After all, there's been a minifig X-Wing as well as a UCS X-wing, which sets are even closer in ressemblance than Mindstorms and (...) (22 years ago, 2-Aug-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Re: Would you buy it?????
|
| I would definitely like to see Lego acquire a license and started producing mecha themed sets(if they can't do something cool on their own - highly likely). To some extent I believe in the minds of TLC, they already are through Bionicle and some of (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)

| | More train colour kits
|
| The first page of the My-Own-Train instructions hints at future colour kits, so can I make a suggestion? DARK RED Am I alone in thinking that that would kick righteous botty? These have to be a big enough success by now to justify some more colours. (...) (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.trains)

| | How do you spell Infomaniac?
|
| There is a character in the new stunts sets, I think he is the news reporter. His name is spelled Informaniac on the SAH site: (URL) spelled Infomaniac (no R) on the lego.com site: (URL) I like the R better, it's more of a play on his job. The (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| I've made a point of avoiding video games for years now. It's weird because I love them. I know this is gonna seem REALLY Old Skool, but, I loved my Nintendo! I had all the Space Ship - Multiple Gun games. Then I realized, the more I played Video (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)
